Daily ops: fix the boring faults before they become GMV holes

A short field guide for operators — what your team can clear in ten minutes, and what should go to the factory with logs.

Most revenue leaks are small and repetitive: one slot that will not eject, a QR that opens the wrong flow, a cabinet that drops offline every afternoon when the venue router reboots. A simple triage sheet saves your team hours and keeps venue managers on your side.

Common pattern: "Won't charge" tickets often trace to oxidized pogo pins or weak LTE/Wi‑Fi — not dead packs. Clean contacts and check signal before you swap hardware.

Document the fix. Repeat failures on the same slot number usually need a module, not another wipe-down.

When to escalate

Call the supplier when a slot fails after two clean cycles, when you smell heat or see swelling, when reboot loops persist, or when payment mismatches need cloud logs to reproduce.
